ECO OASIS BLOCK 19a

The project idea offers a multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder approach to the improvement of green urban planning and the living conditions in a pilot urban settlement in the City of Belgrade. It is based on an innovative reorganization of the living space in urban areas, by switching to renewable energy sources (solar energy, wind power) and energy efficient lighting, and by introducing green architecture in the pilot urban area of Belgrade (Block 19a). Additional elements such as mobile apps, a web portal and a public awareness-raising platform on combat against climate change will optimize the performance of public utility services at the municipal level, and provide the relevant information to all stakeholders and interested citizens.
