OPTIMIZATION OF THE BICYCLE PATHS NETWORK IN BELGRADE BASED ON USABLE DATA

The proposed idea is related to traffic management via mapping potential biking routes by using mobile network data and mathematical model for routes planning and devise a software. Project is one of the first attempts to construct a numerical model based on large-scale data that takes into account all the specifics of Belgrade, to develop most optimal solution of the future cyclist infrastructure in the city. This approach gives the option of choosing a solution with the potential for maximum utilization and the greatest effect on increasing the share of bicycles in transport and the greatest effect on reducing GHG emissions.
